Early Life

Born on the 15th of May 1966 in Okunraye Town and raised in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, Chief Ayeola defied the odds of his time, choosing the path of education when many leaned towards fishing. With perseverance, he earned his N.C.E. from Lagos State College of Education (1990) and a B.Sc. (Ed) from Ogun State University (1998), thereafter devoting over three decades of service to the Lagos State public school system.

Career in Education

Rising through the ranks as teacher, Head of Department, Vice Principal, and Principal, he presently serves as Principal and Director of Education at Ibeju Junior High School. Before venturing into the teaching profession, he briefly explored the financial services sector, gaining early exposure to discipline and organizational structure. However, destiny led him into education, a field in which he has since spent over three decades of unbroken service to Lagos State.

Union Leadership

In the union movement, Chief Ayeola stands tall as a rare leader of teachers, serving as Deputy Chairman, NUT Ibeju-Lekki (2001–2005); two-term Branch Chairman (2005–2013); Lagos State NUT 2nd Vice Chairman (2013–2017); and 1st Vice Chairman (2017–2021). His union legacy remains unmatched, embodying courage, integrity, and tireless advocacy for the dignity of teachers.

Community Leadership

Beyond the classroom and union service, Chief Ayeola is the Chairman of the Lekki Coastal Area Development Association (LCADA), representing 12 communities within the Lekki Free Trade Zone corridor. He is also a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), with notable roles in both state and national election committees.
